Back home again.
Garth and I had an amazing weekend at A-KON. Thanks to everyone who came by and said “hi!” Star Power seemed to go over really well with everyone who previously knew our work! And to everyone who met us for the first time, I bid you welcome to this interstellar adventure!
There were lots of memorable moments for me. Many, many people voiced their approval over the ending of Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire. I saw some old friends, made some new ones, and met some really nice people.
But the highlight of the weekend had to be a panel I did with Garth called “SPAAAACE! And Why It’s Awesome!” He and I love outer space, and we shared our enthusiasm for the wonder, beauty, and awe that the cosmos has to offer. I talked about my love of astronomy and gazing upon star clusters, why I think Jupiter is the coolest planet in the solar system, that my favorite sci-fi alien race (at the moment) are the ziltoidians, and some neat things about time dilation I learned from the Titanium Physicists. We had a lot of fun and so did everyone else in the audience.
