Sorry for the Radio Silence!

In our last blog post I said that we would start updating Issue 28 on January 6th. As you can see, that didn’t exactly happen. As you can also see, now that we’ve begun updating again, it’s almost a month from that original date and we didn’t say much about it around here. That’s on us, and we apologize for the radio silence.

We weren’t completely silent, though! We kept folks somewhat in-the-loop over on our Twitter feed and Facebook page, just so everyone was sure we didn’t abandon our duties after Issue 27’s cliffhanger ending. But social media feeds are different than the site itself, which was largely silent except for my hand-scrawled “Coming Soon” filler and the pre-order information for Star Power & The Choir of Doctor Hymn. We could have written a blog post or did a third piece of filler, but we didn’t, and that’s on us.

I’m the “mouthpiece” around here, so I do most of the talking and am responsible for most of the communication with you fine folks. I lapsed in my duties here at the site itself, even if I was vocal on Twitter and Facebook. Online communication is done almost exclusively on social media these days, and I got swept up in the assumption that announcements everywhere but here were enough. This one’s on me.

That said, the radio silence is over and we’re back to updating! Issue 28 is going to be great and we can’t wait to show you what we have in store. Thank you for your patience.
