Ad men.

We’re off and running with our “ad break” for the next week or so.  In place of Observations and Races of the Millennium Federation we’re promoting our merchandise, our Patreon campaign, and our upcoming convention appearances.  People generally pay more attention to what’s in the comic space as opposed to what’s down in the blog section, the blurb beneath the comic itself, or our convention schedule further down below, and we wanted to take this opportunity to really push some new things we’re very excited about… like our merchandise, our Patreon campaign, and our convention appearances.

Rest assured that this is not going to be a regular thing.  We don’t want to turn the two-week Issue breaks into “commercial breaks.”  We still very much enjoy receiving Observations and posting Races of the Millennium Federation entries.  It’s a great way for us to do some much-needed galaxy building without cluttering up the story itself with exposition.  I’m also a lore junkie, and I relish any opportunity to mention trivial facts about races and cultures that wouldn’t otherwise make it into the dialogue of a storyline or an Issue.

I’m often told that repetition is a key factor in advertising.  So we hope you enjoy these promotions of our merchandise, our Patreon campaign, and our upcoming convention appearances.
