Observations and visions, past and present.

We’re still accepting Observations for the upcoming two-week break between Issues!  Simply email us your visions of Danica, the Chief, Dr. Brightman, Black Hole Bill, or any other members of the cast by Monday, November 25th and you could be showcased on our front page!  This is the last time we’ll be doing Observations between Issues, so get your fan art to us before it’s too late!  As to what we’ll be posting in the future?  More on that as time goes on.

With a price quote for the book run received from the printer, it looks like early ordering for the first volume of the Complete Collection of Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire may go live by Monday, December 2nd!  There are still some final touches to be made, proofs to be ordered and looked over, and other time-sensitive considerations, but if all goes smoothly (cross your fingers) these books will be ready to ship out by January.  I’ll have more concrete details as the book order comes closer to being finalized, and I’ll be explaining why I’ll be funding this out of my own pocket instead of using a Kickstarter campaign.

Whether it’s been working solo on Dominic Deegan or as a team on Star Power, making a webcomic has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.  I realize how fortunate I am to be living in a time where, if you have a story in your heart and the time to dedicate yourself to it, you can share it with the entire world.  It could be a hand-drawn comic strip, a polished full-color comic book, jokes with clip art, stick figures talking science, photographs of action figures, or anything else you can imagine.  There is no “industry standard” with webcomics, and that’s the beauty of it for me.
