Onward August!
August does not slow down for us. Otakon may be behind us, and we had a great time, but there’s plenty more for us to do this month.
This weekend I’ll be returning to the burlesque stage to host “The Slaughterhouse Sweethearts Present” for its final performance! We had a great time on its opening night, but all good things must come to an end. If you’re in the area and want to treat yourself to a show with black widow brides, tooth-wrenching fairies, and a ghost with a boner, this show is just for you. Oh, and you’ll see me hamming it up in a wizard robe.
That following weekend Garth and I will be returning to Intervention! We’ve been attending this show since its debut, and we’re very happy to be coming back for another year. We’ll be talking on panels and selling merchandise, as usual. This is a smaller, more intimate convention so we’ll have more opportunities to actually chat with folks who come by to see us. So come by and say “hi” to us!
And finally, we’ll be attending DragonCon for the first time. I don’t know what to expect from this mammoth show, but I know it’s going to be memorable.
