Professional wrestling to Mexican food.

Here are some random thoughts, musings, and insights as we approach the weekend:

Mainstream professional wrestling can be a frustrating thing to watch, but moments like AJ Styles’ surprise debut in the Royal Rumble last weekend make it worth the aggravation.  I could watch that crowd’s reaction over and over and over again.

It is a poor idea to gorge yourself on Mexican food and then attempt to work out.  Don’t ask.

Collaborating with Garth is an exciting thing.  I produce a script, I bounce it off him, and he sends back ideas from perspectives I had never considered.  Sometimes it results in vast changes to the story.  Sometimes it results in small changes to a character’s actions.  And sometimes it results in oh my god the Mapotans in the next Issue you guys oh my god.

I’m still listening to David Bowie’s Blackstar on a loop.  It is an amazing album.

I made a few resolutions for 2016.  Three of the biggest promises I made to myself were to keep working out, get back into stargazing, and start taking photographs again.  My photography and amateur astronomy have yet to make their triumphant comeback, but I haven’t skipped a beat in my workout routine.  My wife has even joined me!  One out of three isn’t great, but the year is young.

Our 2016 convention tour is slowly taking shape!  We’ll be at Katsucon in a few weeks!  Past that, we’ll be returning to some favorite shows and trying out some new ones!  Change is afoot this year as we reach out to new cons in new cities.  Keep an eye on the convention schedule and this blog page for further announcements.

Issue 13, which is Part 3 of The Mystery of the Zel Gux Dynasty, begins next week!  We hope you enjoy it!
