The 2014 To-Do List.

It’s the first blog post of 2014.  I do hope everyone has properly nursed their hangovers, or remedied the symptoms of whatever revelry you indulged in on New Year’s Eve.  For me?  It was cookies.

Here’s a little list of some of the things I’m looking forward to over the next year, as well as some resolutions.  I’ve been pretty good at keeping to my resolutions, as I only make one or two big ones per year.  In 2012 it was to get better at answering my emails, which I succeeded at doing (though I probably should make that resolution again).  In 2013 it was to practice my amateur photography more, which I not only succeeded in doing but made new friends in the process.

Anyway, here’s the silly little list of what I’m looking forward to in 2014: – More Star Power.  Garth and I are psyched beyond belief about this Issue, and we hope you enjoy it as well as the next Issue, which will be this storyline’s conclusion. – Getting back on the convention circuit.  I miss you guys.  I’m starting the year off by joining Garth for the first time at Ohayocon at the end of this month.  I’m excited. – Do more amateur astronomy and stargazing.  I was good in 2013, but not as good as I could have been.  Time to brave the cold and see my winter sky friends again. – Metal.  I haven’t been to a metal show in about a year.  My eardrums have appreciated the break.  But I’m going to see Amon Amarth and Enslaved next month, so hell yeah. – Read more science fiction.  I devoured The Foundation Trilogy and the first Dune novel this year.  Got to keep that momentum going. – Read more comics.  Whether its comic books, graphic novels, or webcomics, it’s always important.

Here’s to a brand new year, and we hope you continue to join us for the ride!
