The final countdown.

Well folks, this is it.  The final hours of the Star Powered Kickstarter.  Garth and I have been talking about this campaign almost non-stop since its launch, and we are both grateful for your support and apologetic for the near-constant stream of reminders.

It’s part of the business side of webcomics that we both hate talking about, even with each other.  Garth and I aren’t wired to talk about money, business plans, and other financial details without having minor panic attacks.  However, we know that when it comes to promoting something that will help the comic move forward, we have to bite the bullet and become salesmen for a time.  (Not that there’s anything wrong with being a salesman.)  The point is that, if you’ve grown tired of our advertising for the Star Powered Kickstarter, you won’t have to deal with it any more after today, but please understand why we turned into Jay Sherman for a time.  (Buy my book! Buy my book!)

Issue 7 may begin updating as early as Monday.  I had mentioned that this break may be a touch longer than usual, but Garth has been hard at work and may have things ready to go by next week.  If not, there will be three more Races of the Millennium Federation, instead of two and a Star Powered Kickstarter announcement.

Thank you all for your patience, and your incredible support.

About Michael

Michael Terracciano loves comic books, superheroes, outer space, and telling stories. His friends call him "Mookie." He spent the last ten years as the author and artist of the fantasy webcomic, "Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire." He enjoys spending time with his wife and their three cats. His favorite planet is Jupiter because it's awesome. He wants having superpowers to be fun again, and for this to be a universe you want to escape to, not from. He hopes you enjoy reading Star Power.
