Two nerds, one mind.

Garth and I had a blast at InterventionCon, like we always do.  It’s a small convention, so we had some time to talk.  Anyone who’s been to one of our panels, spoken to us at our merch table, or listened to our Patreon-exclusive monthly Q&A sessions knows that we are both “blessed” with the “gift” of gab.  We can talk about a lot when given enough time to do so.

One of the many things I enjoy about working with Garth is our shared enthusiasm for what we do.  We love creating worlds and characters, fleshing out stories and concepts, and getting giddy over dramatic reveals we have planned down the line.  Sometimes one of us will pitch an idea to the other, who will then bounce it back with another idea attached, and back-and-forth again, until it’s snowballed into something grander than we initially imagined and, like a giant snowball, has become something really cool.  Our shared enthusiasm and the back-and-forth exchange of ideas was in full swing this weekend, and it snowballed into something we never expected.

We’ve barely begun updating this new storyline, but we managed to plan out the next three stories in advance.  The scales range from changing the status quo of the galaxy to smaller, more personal stakes.  We’ve decided on new characters to introduce, how the existing cast will be changed, and who will make it to these future tales… all in the context of what’s coming in this next, immediate story, that is.  And the whole time, Garth and I were practically bursting with excitement.  Did we look ridiculous nerding out over our own ideas?  Undoubtedly.  But it also means that our momentum with Star Power is showing no signs of stopping.  In fact, things have only just begun.
