Perfect albums.

A few days ago I saw the hashtag “Perfect Albums” on my Twitter feed, and… wait, let me start again.  A few days ago I saw #PerfectAlbums on my Twitter feed.  Friends of mine were listing albums they thought were perfect offerings.  So for today’s blog, since I am passionate about the music I listen to, I thought I would share what I think are perfect albums.

What do I consider a “perfect album?”  It’s an album you can listen to in its entirety and never say, “ugh, not this song” and skip it.  It’s an album where every song is unique and stands on its own strength.  Some of my most beloved albums have one or two of these hiccups on their track lists.  The albums below, in my opinion, have no such flaws.

I’m only listing albums from my personal music collection.  This is not my attempt to analyze and list the greatest albums in the history of music.  I’m excluding classical music because different orchestras perform the same songs/symphonies in various fashions, coupled with other shorter compositions, and so on.  I’m also excluding “best of…” collections, which sadly makes up a lot of my jazz albums, but I’ll dip into what I have there, too.

So here, from my personal collection, are what I consider to be some perfect albums:
