A supernova of generosity.

Last week I posted about the holidays, namely what I enjoy and dislike about them.  It was a silly piece that hopefully gave some people a chuckle.  Today I want to get a little more serious and briefly talk about… well, recommend… another aspect of the holidays: giving to charity.

We’re not going to do a “Star Powered fundraiser” for any one specific charity.  I’m only going to encourage you to give whatever you can, if it’s within your means this year, in order to help those less fortunate.

These are some charities that my friends and I have donated to and/or helped raise money for in the past: RAINN ASPCA Love146 Red Cross The Trevor Project

There are many more great organizations out there.

Do what you can, if you can.

About Michael

Michael Terracciano loves comic books, superheroes, outer space, and telling stories. His friends call him "Mookie." He spent the last ten years as the author and artist of the fantasy webcomic, "Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire." He enjoys spending time with his wife and their three cats. His favorite planet is Jupiter because it's awesome. He wants having superpowers to be fun again, and for this to be a universe you want to escape to, not from. He hopes you enjoy reading Star Power.
