Back to our program.

And so ends our first experiment with a “commercial break” between Issues.  It was an interesting experience, and a wholly successful one in regards to promoting what we put in the comic space!  Thanks to your generosity, we doubled our monthly Patreon pledges(!) and managed to hit our first Milestone Goal!  That means that every Patron, regardless of the support tier, will be able to download a PDF copy of “Star Power & The Ninth Wormhole,” complete with all its exclusive lore goodies and concept art.  We will post that after all the new pledges come through to us, sometime in early June.

I call it an interesting experience because we had announced these Patreon milestones and incentives weeks ago, here in the blog section and also on Facebook and Twitter, with little to no response.  But once we had posted them as announcements on the front page, where the comic usually updates, we managed to double our Patreon monthly pledge total in a little over a week.  It’s clear to us that this method works, and in the future we’ll be using similar “commercial breaks” like this to promote new merchandise, new Patreon incentives, and anything else we are excited about.  We don’t want to do it too often, however, as the between-Issue breaks are useful for galaxy-building and other lore goodies.  However, when we’re low on relevant lore and are excited about a new book collection, t-shirt design, or something similar, you may see more promotions like we posted in these past weeks.

The cover for Issue 10 posts tomorrow.  We thank you all so much for your generosity, and now return you to your regularly scheduled program.
