Looking back, moving forward.
This past weekend was the final performance of The Slaughterhouse Sweethearts Present, and it was an incredible experience. The crowd was on fire, the Sweethearts nailed their routines, and a memorable evening was had by all. You can follow the troupe on their Vine account for backstage shenanigans and rehearsal sneak peeks. A scary clown stalks me a few times.
I’ve said this countless times in the past, but I’ll say it again: I am so very blessed to be a part of the Boston burlesque community, where I have befriended an incredible array of unique, eccentric, and empowered performers. Thank you to everyone who came out to see us! Our next show, Sirens of Doomsday, is in October.
This upcoming weekend, Garth and I are returning to Intervention! We’ve been attending this show since its debut, and we love what it stands for: a celebration of online creativity and entrepreneurship. Webcomickers, podcasters, bloggers, and more will be showcasing their work and giving talks. Garth and I will be doing our panel about space again, as well as various other topics. Check the schedule on the website to see what we’ll be talking about, or come by and say “hi” to us!
