Return to InterventionCon!

In case you’ve been missing the announcement in the big red banner at the top of the page, Garth and I will be returning to InterventionCon this weekend!  We’ve been with this show since the very beginning.  We’ve believed in it since year one and have never missed our chance to return.  Now that it’s expanding and including guests from all media, we’re flattered to still be counted on their Guest list.

It started as a convention dedicated to internet entrepreneurs.  Webcomickers, bloggers, musicians, and everyone else who used the internet as their “store front” were featured.  InterventionCon has not strayed from that vision, and expanded their scope to include a focus on more traditional geek culture.  We’re thrilled to see this little convention spread its wings and soar into new horizons.  Once again, we’re happy they continue to take us along for the ride.

In the past we counted InterventionCon as one of the more intimate shows, where attendees have the space and time to really talk with the people they’ve come to see.  Garth and I have always counted intimate shows equally important as the mammoth conventions, since person-to-person interactions are so important and smaller shows give us a nice break from the tide of humanity from weekends at DragonCon and the like.  With its scope and guest list expanding, will we still be able to count InterventionCon among our treasured intimate shows?  We’ll find out this weekend.  We hope you make the discovery with us.

He spent the last ten years as the author and artist of the fantasy webcomic, "Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire." He enjoys spending time with his wife and their three cats.
